Single Sign-On (SSO) lets students and users securely access Imagine Learning programs from an identity provider (IDP) such as Clever without undergoing separate authentication. After users or students sign in to the Clever Dashboard, for example, they can click an Imagine Learning program icon to access the teacher or student products without a new prompt for credentials.
Imagine Learning programs support the following SSO platforms:
- Other Identity Providers that support any of the following:
- OpenID Connect
- OAuth 2
- Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS)
The Imagine Learning Student Windows Store app does not support student SSO integration.
SSO with Clever is available for Imagine Language & Literacy. We strongly encourage users to use our latest Imagine Language & Literacy student app version. Clever is a preferred SSO partner.
SSO with ClassLink is available for Imagine Language & Literacy. We strongly encourage users to use our latest Imagine Language & Literacy student app version. ClassLink is a preferred SSO partner.
Other Identity Providers
SSO with other Identity Providers that support protocols mentioned above is available for Imagine Language & Literacy. We strongly encourage users to use our latest Imagine Language & Literacy student app version. Contact Imagine Learning to see if your school district's IDP is supported, and to set up an SSO connection. Each implementation of SAML requires custom work. Please consult with Imagine Learning for an implementation timeline.
A successful SSO implementation is dependent on compliance with specific hardware and software requirements for the Imagine Language & Literacy app. See Student app for more information about these requirements.
