Screen resolution error in legacy Windows app

Some users may see a message that says, “Couldn’t switch to requested monitor resolution” when launching the Windows standalone app. This issue was introduced in the 1.69 Imagine Learning legacy app and has now been resolved in the 1.105 release.

Workaround

Some users may still see the issue if the app isn’t updated on managed student accounts on Windows. Please ensure the app is updated and has access to edit the registry of the user.
